The program provides hotline counseling 24 hours per day seven days per week to individuals who think they might be a victim of domestic violence or sexual assault. Program staff can provide individuals with brief crisis counseling and safety planning to diffuse the state that the victim currently finds themselves in. Lethality assessments are conducted and the victim is given options and provided assistance in making the best choices for themselves and their children. Many times information and referrals are provided to not only victims, but individuals who may be concerned about someone they think may be a victim.
All hotline calls are kept confidential and staff will do everything in their power to assist someone in a desperate situation.
