The Salvation Army helps older adults
in Pensacola:

Water Aerobic classes and free swim programs are held weekdays between the hours of 8:00 am and 11:00 am.

Visitation by volunteers through our Community Care Ministries (aka League of Mercy) provides companionship and a friendly face to those who are elderly, invalid or otherwise shut-in. This simple kindness of sharing human company can help combat loneliness or despair as seniors age.

All of The Salvation Army's senior programs work collectively to improve seniors' quality of life.

Please contact

for specific information about the senior services and programs available at The Salvation Army in Pensacola.

aka "Super Seniors"

The Super Senior program, which meets each Wednesday at 10:00 am, help seniors to maintain their enthusiasm and vitality.

People who are 55 years of age and older represent the fastest growing age category in our nation today. Given the immeasurable value this population has contributed to our people and our country, it is only fitting that The Salvation Army is dedicated to serving the needs of the aging in ways that support their continued dignity and honor.
