If you could meet any one person, alive or dead, who would it be? And why?
Michael Jackson because he's the king of pop and I loved listening to his music when I was younger and still do
What is your favorite thing about The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club? Least favorite?
My favorite thing about The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club is that the teens get a chance to step up and be a role model in the younger members' lives. My least favorite thing is that I think not enough teens take advantage of this opportunity.
It's Saturday afternoon and you have a few hours of free time...how do you spend it?
If I don't have any homework or school work I would usually go hang out with my friends.

I actually don't own an Ipod, but I usually listen to slower songs.
What is your favorite spot in Richmond?
Honestly, I just love getting out of the house...being active.
Your goal is to become a Drill Sergeant...why?
To be a drill instructor means you're the best. You are responsible for making Marines. You get to build them from the ground up. And doing a little yelling.

What is your favorite sport? Team?
Football and the Indianapolis Colts
What words do you hope others (your peers, family, teachers) use to describe you?
I hope they say I'm always motivated and ready to get the job done
What is your favorite food? Restaurant?
Spaghetti and chicken sandwiches. I don't really eat out too often, but I would say Bottom's Up Pizza
What is your all time favorite movie? What makes it your favorite? What was the last movie you watched?
I don't really have a favorite movie, but I enjoy war movies because it makes me think about my future in the military.
Finish this sentence: Volunteering in your community is important because...
Your community needs you, its people need you and you should always give back.
You are trapped on a deserted island...what 3 things do you have with you?
My phone with a signal, fresh water, hunting tools
You are granted one wish...what is it?
The best thing about Richmond is...?
The JROTC program, I love it and it keeps me involved.
Who is your hero?
Sergeant First Class Thornton because he stepped into my life at a time of depression and just a really unhappy point. To this day he continues to play a father role in my life, even more so than my real father.
What is your favorite subject in school? Least favorite?
My favorite subject is math and my least favorite is history
What do you always find yourself reading?
I'm always reading information about drill instructors and what their responsibilities are.
What's on your TV?
Phineas and Ferb, I've gotten addicted to that show.
I'm Honored to have been chosen as the 2012 Youth of the Year because...
It lets me know that people are watching me and that I am being acknowledged for my talents and it takes a special person to win Youth of the Year.
