Inaugural Bowl and Soup Dinner to Benefit The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary (SAWA) will hold its inaugural Bowl and Soup Dinner on Saturday, November 21st to benefit The Salvation Army School of Performing Arts and The Salvation Army food pantry.
This event will take place between the hours of 4 and 6 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 4103 Monument Avenue in Richmond.
Tickets for this event are $15 and include a hand painted bowl, soup, bread, drink and dessert.
All of these bowls, which are yours to keep, were painted by youth from The Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club and other local artists.
Tickets must be purchased in advance by calling Jean Turner at (804) 273-9066.
If you are unable to attend, but would like to donate to this fundraiser, you may do so.
SAWA is a fund-raising and volunteer organization that supports the work of The Army throughout Central Virginia.
Through its various fundraising efforts over the years, SAWA has contributed monetarily to The Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club, the Richmond and Petersburg Centers for Worship and Service, The Salvation Army School of Performing Arts and the Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC).
