Whether you are "giving back" some of the advantages you have enjoyed or have extra time on your hands, there are many opportunities for groups or individuals to serve our community by volunteering at The Salvaton Army - Center of Hope.
A partial list of volunteer needs include: receptionist, telephone operator, general office, data entry, filing, kitchen food prep and culinary work, clothing closet, special events, fundraising, food drive, van driver, teaching/mentoring, laundry, and more.

Restaurants, Catering Companies, Supermarkets, Hotels and Food Distributors
Whenever you have surplus items, extra food, or produce that is about to reach its expiration date - DO NOT THROW GOOD FOOD AWAY. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner daily - over 700 meals a day, 365 days a year. We can take your extra items and use immediately. Call us at 954-4673 ext. 122 and we will pick-up extra items in our refrigerated van.
We can also use sheets, blankets, individual soaps, shampoos and other small toiletry items.
The Sarasota community has been very generous with their "in-kind" gifts. Thank you for all you do and we look forward to having more opportunities to "Doing The Most Good" with your extra products.
