Center for Worship and Service

The heart of The Salvation Army's outreach in the community is the Corps Community Center. The new center is located at 1701 South Tuttle Avenue and all activitiesl take place on that site. From the center, a wide range of activities takes place including:

Youth programs offered for children ages six through teenager
Community fellowship groups for Christian men and women
Senior programs
Summer camping programs
Group worship meetings are held for those who find a relationship with God as their source of strength and being.

Each of these activities has been successful in building relationships and self-esteem, encouraging the youth, adults and seniors and promotiong a better sense of community.

Funds raised during a recent car "wash" will help pay for a youth retreat in April and other upcoming activities. Call the church for more details on weekly activities.
