Rent

When funds are available rent may be paid due to a FEMA grant.

  • Rent is paid only two times during the year from April to May and from September to October.
  • A one months rent (no late fees) may be paid only once every two years. 
  • The client must have a picture Identification and Social Security Number.
  • They must come in and obtain a packet with requested information before an appointment is made.
  • They must have the completed information at the time of the appointment.

 When funds are available electric may be paid only one time a year.

  • The client must have a cut-off notice before receiving any assistance. 
  • The client must have a picture Identification and Social Security Number.
  • They will also need to provide other bills that are in their name such as gas and water.
  • Also they need to provide information on any other assistance they may be receiving.

Gas

When funds are available gas may be paid only one time a year that begins around November and ends around March.

  • The client must have a cut-off notice before receiving any assistance. 
  • The client must have a picture Identification and Social Security Number.
  • They will also need to provide other bills that are in their name such as electric and water.
  • Also they need to provide information on any other assistance they may be receiving.

 

Fire Victim

  • The Red Cross must refer the client.
  • They must have an original form from the Red Cross.
  • They can receive assistance with some furniture and appliances.

 

Food

The client must have a picture Identification and Social Security Number.

  • The client may qualify to receive a food box only one time within a 6 month period. 
  • Also they need to provide any information on any other assistance they may be receiving.

 

Clothing

They must have a picture Identification and Social Security Number

  • The client may qualify to receive assistance with clothing only one time within a six- month period.

Shelter 

They must have a picture Identification and Social Security Number

  • The shelter provides a place to stay, clothing and three meals a day.
  • There are some rules that do apply before a client may be allowed to be admitted.
