Spring into Spring with the Salvation Army Fall Family Festival 26/02/2013
Bring the entire family and spring into fun at The Salvation Army of Martin County's Spring Family Festival. Scheduled for March 4-6 at The Salvation Army Meyering Center for Worship and Service, the Spring Festival features music, puppets, arts & crafts, refreshments and more with special guests, The Bartsch Family.
The Michigan based non-denominational family, led by their parents, Chuck and Connie Bartsch, began singing in churches back in 1986. Soon the ministry grew into a full-time ministry, which entailed traveling on the road for most of the year. The family brings their evangelistic meetings and music to Salvation Army Corps throughout the country and they also sing at churches and Senior Adult groups. Children of all ages enjoy their puppet shows and arts & crafts.
The Spring Family Festival will open Monday, March 4th with refreshments and arts & crafts at 5:00 p.m., followed by a family festival service, music, costumes and puppet shows at 6:00. The schedule will remain the same for Tuesday and Wednesday, March 5-6. Lt. Andrea Hoover, Corps Officer for The Salvation Army of Martin County, is planning a fun time for the entire family!
