An Evening of Unforgettable Song & Dance
to Benefit The Salvation Army of Martin Coiunty
For immediate release - Who can resist the unforgettable music from "Fiddler on the Roof?" Nearly 50 years since the show first opened, songs such as "Matchmaker," "If I Were a Rich Man," and "Sunrise, Sunset" continue to make audiences happy around the world. And on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, "Fiddler on the Roof" will be playing at the historic Lyric Theatre in downtown Stuart, with a portion of tickets sales benefitting the programs and services of The Salvation Army of Martin County.
According to Lt. Andrea Hoover, Corps Officer for The Salvation Army, this is the third year that the The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary has partnered with The Lyric Theater for this fundraiser. "We are very grateful to the Lyric for giving us this opportunity to raise much-needed funds for our programs, including our Compassion House transitional housing for homeless women and children," Lt. Hoover said.
Benefit tickets for the 8:00 p.m. performance can be purchased through the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary and are $75.00 per person, which includes one ticket to the show and a tax-deductible contribution to the Salvation Army. A limited number of tickets are still available and must be purchased by February 1st. Checks can be made payable to The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary and mailed to P.O.
