The Salvation Army has been providing social services since its inception in 1865 beginning in London's East End. It has since expanded into a remarkable network of services throughout the world.
Building on a solid foundation of comprehensive social service ministries for over a century, The Salvation Army in Tallahassee offers a wide range of services from basic emergency needs to comprehensive programs that reach the total needs presented by our clients. All services are designed to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
Emergency Assistance
Assistance including food, clothing, utilities and/or rent. On some occasions transportation, prescriptions and other basic needs are provided. Referrals to other resources are included where The Salvation Army cannot provide assistance.
