You are in: HOW YOU CAN HELP

Love Lives Here
"Love Lives Here", 28 days of love, hope and encouragement.
Our goal is to give you an insiders peek into the Love that Lives here, to the Love that Works Here and to the Love That Dares To Dream Here!
We will give you and your group a chance to join us in sharing the love of God through different volunteer opportunities and different projects around our community.
It's all about "Others" here at The Salvation Army, so join us as we celebrate the "heart" of the matter!

OTHER OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE WITH US
The Salvation Army was originally named "The Volunteer Army". That still holds true today. To be effective in our mission we need your talents, time and help to benefit others. Will you volunteer? You will find that there are unseen benefits for you, too. We have year-round and seasonal opportunities. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact our office at (850) 222 -0304 Captain Julio Da Silva
Year-Round Opportunities
The Salvation Army offers volunteer opportunities throughout the year in our Administration offices, Corps Community Centers, and our Youth and Senior Programs.
Seasonal Opportunities
The Salvation Army has a variety of opportunities open during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday season. The following list is just an example of some the positions available during the holidays:
Red Kettle Bell Ringers
Ring for 3 or 4 hour shifts at locations near you. The money stays in the community where you ring and will be used to run the programs offered in that community. It runs November 10 through December 24, six days a week, 10:00am - 8:00pm. This is a simple way to raise money and awareness for outreach in your own community.
Christmas Registrations
Help register families to receive Christmas assistance, or help with data entry, answering phones, and filing.
Sharing Tree and Christmas Distributions
League of Mercy
Deliver gifts, toys and food to hospitals, nursing homes, shut-ins and prisoners. (We would like as many people to volunteer because the number of sites visited is determined by volunteer participation).
Thrift Store
There are many other opportunities available at our Family Thrift Store.
Emergency Disaster Service - You can serve in a local disaster or in other states.
If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact our office at (850) 222 -0304 and ask to speak to Julie Smith - Volunteer Coordinator
