Corps Programs
As The Salvation Army provides basic human necessities, such as food, clothing and 
shelter, we also believe in serving the total person. As part of the Christian Church, all are invited to join Norfolk Corps Officers Lts. Jacob and Gretchen Granados (right) for worship and teach Christian truths.
Youth Programs
The children in the community can take part in the youth programs at the Corps Community Center on Tuesdays at 6:00pm. The Adventure Corps is a program geared for young boys in grades 1-4. They participate in recreation, skills development and varying educational opportunities. The Sunbeams are open for girls in grades 1-5 and Girl Guards for grades 6 through 12. The girls earn merit badges, learn social etiquette and participate in community projects.
Men's Fellowship Club
This program is open to all men 18 years of age and up. The men gather together for Bible study, service projects and recreation on Wednesday's at 7:30pm.
Home League
Promotion of home ideals through Christian fellowship is a vital part of the international women's organization knows as the Home League. The program emphasizes worship, education, service and fellowship. Transportation is available to those women interested in participating with the group. Home League meets at the Corps Community Center on Wednesday's at 7:30pm and Thursdays at 10:00am.
League of Mercy
The League of Mercy is made up of volunteer men and women who make visits year-round to hospitals, convalescent and nursing homes and correctional institutions. They visit the lonely and home-bound, distributing personal articles, writing materials, magazines, refreshments, and Bibles. Special gifts are distributed to the institutions and homebound individuals during the Christmas and Easter seasons.
Worship Meetings
Worship meetings are held each week at the Corps Community Center. Sunday services begin at 9:45am with Sunday school for children and adults and the worship service begins at 10:45am in the chapel. Bible study meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm
