Advisory Board
The Advisory Board members are influential community leaders who voluntarily use their professional skills and knowledge of the community; to assist The Salvation Army interpret community needs and facilitate development of resources to make a practical difference for their neighbors, strengthening The Salvation Army's ability to serve.
With the Advisory Board's commitment to excellence they dedicate themselves to increasing public awareness of The Salvation Army's purpose and work, recruit volunteers and giving hands on assistance. They provide advise and guidance to The Salvation Army Officer in areas such as budgeting, capital campaigns, public relations, fundraising, building improvements and maintenance. Their committment to serving others unites them with like-minded professionals from a wide variety of backgrounds which makes Advisory Board members a vital partner in The Salvation Army ministry.
