Worship and Discipleship Programs Not only is The Salvation Army a Social Service Organization, but we are also a church. We have church services every Sunday along wih Sunday school and many other groups that meet to learn and worship the Lord, Jesus Christ. Activities & Services Ours Corps family is very active throughout the year. We have a Spring Festival as a fundraiser for our food pantry, a Good Friday, Easter Sunrise service and Weekly Worship services. During the Summer we have Summer Day Camp and Back to school programs for the community where we hand out backpacks filled with school supplies. Older Adult Ministry It's such a BLESSING! Our seniors meet every Tuesday and Wednesday for Women & Men's group and Seniors' Games. We care for each other and pray for them. We serve Lunch Tuesday and Wednesday after meetings. Many membmers are participating in COMMUNITY CARE MINISTRY. Visitation of shut-ins, health care facility residents, and hospital patients is an important part of the Salvation Army mission. We visit on a regular basis as a group, and our Corps folks call and reach out to each other constantly in the name of Christ. COMMUNITY CENTER/AFTER SCHOOL Our After School Program has been successful in our commjunity since September 2000. Its purpose is to serve children in grade 1-8, within a fun and safe environment, while including Biblical principles in its program. It is open Monday through Friday from 2:30-5:30pm. Call 484-6227 for more information. SUMMER DAY CAMP. Children ages 6 through 12 are invited to attend our Summer Day Camp. They come on a daily basis and are involved in worship , swimming, crafts, field trips, educational programs and other fun activities.
