Gifts of Supplies

The Salvation Army occasionally accepts in-kind donations of new items - often in large or bulk quantities - that can be distributed to needy individuals and families or otherwise used at one of our local centers.

WHAT TYPE OF SUPPLY DONATIONS ARE NEEDED?

Examples of such items include new computer equipment, school supplies, long-distance calling cards, new blankets, new electric fans, office supplies, water, diapers, baby products,  personal care goods.

HOW DO I DONATE LARGE OR BULK QUANTITIES? 

Naturally, issues such as storage space and our ability to distribute (or use) the items must be taken into consideration. Please call (254) 756-7271  to discuss the feasibility of a potential donation.

DO YOU ACCEPT BULK DONATIONS DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON?

During the holiday season, additional NEW gift considerations are appreciated because we prefer to give new items to those seeking our help during the holiday season when need is greater.

Special holiday season gift needs:

• Toys for children ages infants - 12 years of age to be distributed to area needy children
• Caps, mittens, sweaters, coats, gloves and scarves for needy people of all ages
• Food of all kinds...especially turkeys, hams, pumpkin and pecan pies for our holiday meals.
