| RED KETTLE DRIVE The Salvation Army is most known for the festive Red Kettles that pop-up around the country during the holidays, beckoning those shopping for loved-ones to bring a little cheer to families less fortunate. People are often unaware that 100 percent of the donations dropped into Army Kettles, remain in the community to fund social service programs that reach far beyond the Christmas season. |
 | TOYS FOR TOTS Each year we sign up hundreds of families for holiday assistance. We bring hope and joy to families who have seen very little of both. |
 | THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS MEALS On Thanksgiving and Christmas we open our doors to provide a warm full course meal to those less fortunate in our community. With your donations of non-perishable food items and money, you can help brighten and change a family's holiday season for the better. Volunteers are also needed to help serve, prepare and clean-up. |

ADOPT A FAMILY Clients are qualified for the Adopt a Family in October and early November by the corps. Sponsors are generated through a mailing to past participants and with the help or our corporate and media partners. Sponsors are provided info on family per their request, and return the requested items in December. Clients that were adopted are notified, and asked to pick up their gifts just before Christmas at the same location. |

SENIOR GIFT PROGRAM For the past 50 years, The Salvation Army has provided a holiday gift to EVERY patient and resident in the VA Hospital and nursing homes in our area. Volunteers hand-deliver each gift to ensure everyone will receive something during the holiday season. All of this is made possible with the money they collect from the Red Kettle Campaign and with the help of their dedicated volunteers. Last year, over 4,000 gifts were provided to the elderly and sick throughout the community. |
