The Salvation Army Northwest Community Center

The Northwest Community Center opened in April of 2000 due to a collaborative effort between the City of West Palm Beach and The Salvation Army.  The Northwest Community Center located on Rosemary Avenue, was developed to serve the residents of West Palm Beach by offering recreational, educational, social and community development activities for the uplifting and improvement of the overall quality of life.  The facility includes a full state of the art gymnasium, a large community room, a stage and a full kitchen.  There are two full sized activity rooms, a weight room and a computer lab.  The center has a large fenced in sports field for outdoor activities.  Current programs available include: Friday Night Live, Summer Camp, Young Ladies of Grace, College Tour, Athletic programs, Seniors program, After School Tutorial, and Music Program. 

Membership to The Salvation Army Northwest Community Center is available for $20.00 and covers the entire family (children under 18).  Membership ensures you or your child's participation in many of the programs held at the facility.

The children of our community continually face temptations and challenges and we believe having an activity and safe environment for them will promote safer streets and help our kids stay away from temptations.

Held on the 4th Friday of each month.
