the month of October, in honor of domestic violence awareness month, the Emmy
award winning ABC Action News 'Taking Action Against Domestic Violence' is promoting its "Get 2 Zero" Stop the Abuse campaign.
On October 22nd, ABC Action News is hosting a live telethon to benefit 10 area domestic violence programs, including The
Salvation Army Domestic Violence Shelter. Local businesses and
organization are encouraged to particpate in raising awareness and support.

The Salvation Army Domestic Violence Program of West Pasco was established in 1982. This Certified Program is one of three domestic violence programs operated by The Salvation Army in the State of Florida.
All services are provided cost free and supported by grants and contributions from the community.
