1964 ‘Classic' Volkswagen Beetle

The 1964 VW is considered a classic. This car has been conscientiously maintained and any cosmetic flaws are minimal. It has all original parts, has been garaged and has only been driven 49,000 miles! This is the perfect vehicle for an enthusiast or collector, it is fundamentally sound and in excellent running condition.

The vehicle will be on display at the Salvation Army Family Store on Peters Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem, NC starting July 7th through auction day. (Please note that the vehicle will not be on display Friday July 24th).

Summer Camp is in full swing

 

Campers are enjoying summer programs at three Salvation Army locations this year: Ken Carlson Boys and Girls Club, the International Boys and Girls Club and the Academy of Music and Arts at the Washington Park Corps. Campers at the Ken Carlson Boys and Girls Club entertained a number of adults at a special luncheon to help support the programs this year (read Winston-Salem Journal story). The Jack T. Waters Music Conservatory entertained members of Peacehaven Baptist Church at a special Watermelon Feast.
